AuroraDeck
How it works

From blank wallpaper to designer desktop in minutes

No coding, no risk. Rainmeter skins are drag-and-drop simple — here's the whole process.

01

Install Rainmeter

Download the free, open-source Rainmeter app for Windows and run the installer. It's lightweight and takes less than a minute.

02

Get an AuroraDeck skin

Pick any skin from our collection and download the .rmskin package. Every skin is a single, self-contained installer file.

03

Double-click to install

Open the .rmskin file and Rainmeter's Skin Installer shows exactly what will be added. Click Install and you're done.

04

Load & arrange

Open the Manage window, load your skin, then drag each panel anywhere on your desktop. Recolor and resize to taste.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rainmeter safe to use? +

Yes. Rainmeter is a trusted, open-source project that has been actively developed since 2001. AuroraDeck skins are non-destructive — they never modify Windows system files and can be removed cleanly at any time.

Does Rainmeter slow down my PC? +

No. A well-built Rainmeter skin uses only a few megabytes of RAM and a tiny fraction of CPU. Our skins are optimized to stay light even with live sensors running.

Which Windows versions are supported? +

All AuroraDeck skins support Windows 10 and Windows 11. Rainmeter 4.5 or newer is recommended for the best experience.

How do I uninstall a skin? +

Open the Rainmeter Manage window, select the skin and click Unload. To fully remove it, delete its folder from your Skins directory. Nothing is left behind.

Do I need to know how to code? +

Not at all. Our skins are drag-and-drop and configured through simple right-click menus. Advanced users can still tweak the .ini files if they want to.
